Conditional formatting (dashboards overrides question settings)

Conditional formatting is a excellent Feature ( Even it is limited to numbers only)

I am trying to create Conditional formatting in Question , when i am creating Dashboard using Conditional formatted Question , i can see the Conditional formatting option in Dashboard edit mode also, I am changing the formatting in Dashboard and Dashboard result shows the formatting created from Dashboard edit mode.

Is this default behavior , Dashboard edit has precedence

Yes as far as I know- same with titles and descriptions. I think the idea is it allows you to tailor it on each dashboard if you reuse a question.
