Mac and hosted metabase ? are the data shared?

Hello,

New to metabase (seems awesome !) i was wondering if the data we have on the mac client are also available on the .jar hosted version if i install it on my server ?

the goal here is to create / organize on my mac so that users would have the data on the hosted version

searched in help section - but did not find (or understand) the answer ^^

Hi @nico2
It’s easier if you just setup the JAR/Docker on your server and start configuring that.
The Mac App is geared towards people wanting to quickly tryout Metabase or who don’t need to share their data with others.
