Updating the database from Metabase

Hi,

I can see the power of Metabase for querying the database, however I have not been able to find any information on whether Metabase is able to update the database.

Is it possible for users to insert new data into the DB and/or update the database using Metabase?

No. I don’t know if it’s on the list of future additions though, it’s a case of searching github, or waiting for someone who knows more than me.

Well, there’s:

I’m in particular curious about if you already have some other application already writing to your database (Well you must have! Data doesn’t just materialize out of thin air) … and if that application might already have an API?

Maybe you could share a bit more about your specific usecase?
