This is a bit broader question and I am trying to understand the feasibility of using Metabase.
I am doing a POC of integration a BI tool in a SAAS application which is a multi-tenant app. The factors which are important to me are:
- Role based access, users of a specific organisation should see data on dashboards specific to them. Even within organisations, different roles could see different dashboards.
- Dashboards would be same, but admins would have possibly access of 30 and others might have 20 and 15.
- Embedding options, I see Interactive Embedding and Embeddings SDK are both options, but need to decide which is ideal.
- DB connections. If we have a single DB across all tenants, with isolation how are connections managed and if there are seperate DB for all tenants how would be the connections managed.
- Metabase Cloud would be the ideal fit here, but can I do POC using the local version?
