Email Set-up fails


I am trying to set-up email on metabase. I keep getting the following error.
Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again. Error: 554 Policy violation. Email Session ID: {63734A3C-3-70A0A61F-C0BDF291}

When I use same credentials on the same version of Metabase in another environment, I am able to connect.

Hi @asimumba
If you are using exactly the same settings, then it's most likely caused by a firewall on the Metabase host, or an IP restriction on the SMTP server.

Hi @flamber , I tried to use SSL at port 465 and I was successful. But I will look at your suggestion. And try STARTTLS.
