We have a table report that is in a dashboard and embedded in our application. The column, which is an ID column, is specifically formatted to not include any commas and it displays in the original report without commas, within Metabase in the dashboard without commas and in our application without commas but when you download to excel from within the embedded dashboard it adds commas to the numeric fields. We have attempted to change formatting in the Metabase admin section for the table, in the UI for the report and in the dashboard and all of them looked to be set correctly without separators but it continues to export with commas when embedded. It exports to excel without commas when done within Metabase natively.
