Currently, I am running Metabase on cloud. Now, I want to add database from my locak MSSQL but getting error like below. I already configure ports and enable TCP/IP. Did you guys have any solutions on it?
You need to expose that database to the internet for our cloud to be able to reach it. If you don’t know how to do that, we recommend that you use a self hosted Metabase instance
Can you suggest me the easiest way to do that so for mssql database.
If you don’t understand the problem here, you should probably stop and pay someone to do it properly. You’re about to expose your database to the whole Internet unless you’re very careful.
It’s okay I already did tcp tunnelling using ngrok.
