Hey guys, I’m adding a topic for discussion before opening any issue on GitHub. I’m starting to grow metabase inside the organization I work for and I have ran in some situations where it would be useful to be able to view Metabase as another user in order to make sure all permissions were set right. I was thinking on how to make this idea clear and I found a pretty similar topic in Tableau’s forum. My topic is based on it https://community.tableau.com/ideas/6100.
What is the idea?
Enable a feature which will allow admin users to view Metabase as another user or user group in order to evaluate security.
What problem are we trying to solve or what scenario would this idea solve?
Permissions can be difficult to evaluate, and creating this feature would allow the Admin to test that permissions are sufficient.
