Filtering a dashboard on a field "Company Name"

I’ve added a question to a dashboard where there is a column Company Name in the results. I’ve played with the data model properties for the field but cannot get the filter on the dashboard to give me a search result when I start typing a name. I can only filter the question through the dashboard filter if I type the company name in full.
If I interpret the documentation correctly, it should be possible. Can someone please help me?
I’m using Metabase 0.35.3.

Hmmm.
I guess it’s the same problem as this: https://github.com/metabase/metabase/issues/12250
I have joins in one of the two questions on the dashboard.
I upvoted it.
