Having issue with Postgres Database Connection

Error:

 No pg_hba.conf entry for host "***.***.***.***", user "******************", database "******************", ssl off.

I also ran into this message when trying to connect to my heroku postgres db from the mac client.

Sorry about that. We’re tracking this issue here https://github.com/metabase/metabase/issues/1293 and there’s a workaround posted there if you’re comfortable with the command line.

This is fixed in https://github.com/metabase/metabase/releases/tag/v0.12.1 and you should be able to update the mac client by having it check for updates.
