I use Segment to send events to a Redshift cluster on AWS and Metabase to query those tables. Segment creates a lot of ancillary columns that aren’t very useful for most queries (like library version).
I would love to set most of them as hidden (still be able to access them from the UI though, maybe in some sort of “show hidden” menu?) but going through every table and do it that way is a huge pain in the a**.
