I’m considering migration our company BI from Pentaho CE to Metabase. What’s missing is the median and the percentile aggregations which we need for some of our important KPIs. I can’t calculate them in ETL and store in the warehouse because we wouldn’t be able to segment it by dimensions.
Is there any way we can add custom metric with median or percentile calculation?
There was an github issue #1660 some time ago but it resulted only in the min/max aggregations implemented because median was available in Oracle db only.
Our warehouse is on PostgreSQL and percentile can be calculated using the percentile_cont aggregator.
Any ideas?
