I want to build a dashboard for forecasting.
Background: Actual financial project data is coming from an ERP system in combination with another system. The user should be able to enter a forecast for the current year. The forecast is a rolling over process, each time it gets an update there should be the possibility to show the variance.
I guess to build this dashboard I need to enter data directly via Metabase. Is it possible to store data like this directly in the Metabase database or do I have to deploy the tables and fields elsewhere? Can I use metabase to insert new data via a form included in the dashboard?
What would be the most intelligent way to realize this?
