Missing Filters features

I can't find the options mentioned below to be accessed in the dashboards filters.

You need to add a category filter to a dashboard for that to appear

I am not new to field filters. I have been using them for over a year now.

The issue is I want to customize the options selectable (as shown below) as shown in this article in Metabase Tutorials.

So once you have a filter on the dashboard, clicking on the ‘gear’ beside it will open the options you’re looking for.
