No new data in Metabase internal database after version upgrade and rollback

Hi team,

We recently attempted to upgrade our Metabase instance from v0.49.7 to v0.54.12 on production, but due to some issues, we decided to revert back to the older version (v0.49.7).

This upgrade and rollback took place on July 11, 2025. Since then, we’ve noticed that the events in the Metabase internal database have stopped updating — all tables in this db contains data only up to July 11, 2025, and no new data is being inserted after that date.

Could you please help us identify what might be causing this issue and how we can get the internal event logging to resume?

What events, specifically?

For example, there’s a table named Query Execution In Metabase DB that stores all the queries executed by users along with other metadata. The latest entry in this table is dated July 11, 2025.
