Returning result if column contain specific text

Tried using: contains([Fountain Data] , "freelance") to show the number of lines containing the word "freelance" in the column "Fountain Data" but getting error message "Expecting aggregation but found function contains returning boolean"

The Fountain Data column contains text, numbers and various signs. Is this why it does not work? Is there a workaround?
