Snowflake and Metabase table and column descriptions are not in sync

Hey!
I have column and table descriptions in Snowflake, but when I update them, they won't get updated in Metabase.

Looking in the logs I do find some entries like INFO metabase.sync.sync-metadata.tables Updating description for tables: but it's still the very first version of descriptions visible in Metabase.

Can I somehow re-trigger a descriptions sync?

Currently Metabase doesn't know the difference between automatic synced information and user defined, so to avoid overwriting user defined information, then the description is not updated again via sync:
