Trying to use a custom column as a dashboard filter

Hi! I made a very simple custom column to concat first and last name fields in our table to form a full name:

However, when I go to add the field as a filter, I'm unable to do so:

There was a post from May 20 that seemed to suggest that it isn't possible but curious if it's since been added?
