Unable to Group By a Date when Exploring Data via GUI

I'm unable to group by a date when exploring data via GUI. See screenshots below. Any idea what's going on?

Post "Diagnostic Info" from Admin > Troubleshooting. Latest release is 0.42.1: https://github.com/metabase/metabase/releases/latest
