Using a RDS snapshot of an old metabase DB is possible?

I've been trying to move my EB metabase deployment from one region to other. I used the snapshot DB option while creating the environment but I can see that metabase clears the storage. Hoe to fix this?

What do you mean by "clears the storage"? It sounds like the RDS database is coupled the EB. You'll need to decouple it: Best practice for having RDS as part of EB environment
