You’re using a Database driver which is now deprecated and will be removed in the next release. We recommend you upgrade

Good day,

I recently upgraded to Metabase 0.47.0. I'm getting the message on the update screen " You’re using a Database driver which is now deprecated and will be removed in the next release. We recommend you upgrade ."

What does this mean? How do I upgrade without losing everything? I thought upgrading Metabase itself would take care of such things? I'm using MySQL 8.x as the underlying database.

Thanks!

not possible, we're not deprecating MySQL at all. Are you sure it's the only database you're connecting to?

Other than the sample database, the MySQL is the only one.
Or is it the sample that's being removed?

I'm seeing something similar:

Running 0.47.0
Driver is MS SQL Server.

I'm still on v0.46.6.4 and I'm getting it too. MS SQL here too.

I've got logs going back to May (v0.46.2) showing this warning, but I feel like I've seen it before then too, just haven't retained the logs.
