Hi there!

I saw an item in the list of Soon updates – "Actions in more databases". I would like to clarify, is this about the ability to join several databases in one query?

No, it's about being able to write back to databases.

@AndrewMBaines are there any plans about join between different database tables, what mentioned hex above?

Joining between different databases is not possible unless you use a query federation engine like presto, trino or your current db provides federation capabilities (like a Postgres foreign data wrapper)
