Add a regex filter selection on top of a Field category filter with many options

Hi!

We have been using filters defined as a Category type in the Data Model admin section, and showing them as a List of all values.

Now it often happens that we have tons of values in this dropdown and we want to filter that filter based on a regex pattern.

For example, let's say we have a category filter with many marketing campaign names:

  • Prospecting - ...
  • Retargeting - Test - ...
  • Prospecting - Test - ...

Can a new Field type be added to enable regex filtering on Field Filters. So for example the most basic example would be to apply a 'contains Prospecting' filter applied to the field filter with all those many options.

I checked the linked filter option but not sure this is doable with that feature
