Apply a default date range and also let the user apply his own range

I’m trying to apply a default date range to a report using 2 simple date filters, then setting these 2 inputs via parameters on embedding.

When I do this, the filters disappears and the user cannot apply other filter range.

Is there a way to apply a default date range to a report and still let the user select a custom date range?

Which version of Metabase?
You create the filter widget on the dashboard and define the default value, then you have to set the Parameter to Editable via the Embed configuration.
