can we take backup of dashboards & charts

They’re all stored in the metabase database, so just need to take a backup of that.

Stop metabase, restore the database, start metabase.

@jinwang.du If you haven’t changed anything, then you are using the default H2 database, which is a file:

It is not recommended to use H2 in production, so you should migrate to a proper database:
https://www.metabase.com/docs/latest/operations-guide/migrating-from-h2.html
