Hello there!
Since new UI with redesigned sidebar introduced, it is now required to always do two actions to get to initial screen instead of simply pressing Metabase icon in the top left corner. Compare flows:

Would it be possible to separate Metabase logo and 'Open sidebar' button to allow logo to once again lead to home page. That would also save ~33 px for an additional row to get into sidebar.
Pinned elements from 'Our analytics' appearing in the 'Home' screen were also very nice. Current suggestions on where users have left off are no way near since this solution, once again, requires additional clicks to get to a destination place (e.g. key metrics or collections).
