Building pivot tables is still very painful

The experience on pivot table is quite poor:

  • unable to build a pivot table from a sql query
  • takes much time to load
  • sometimes it just displays a warning on a dash and stops working -> need to recreate a question

Is there any improvement planned for the next releases?

to make a better pivot table we need to do the pivoting at the DB level, right now it's done in the frontend, so it will take a while
