Cannot Create a Model

I am an admin of an Open Source instance of MB. I have been following the documentation based here: https://www.metabase.com/learn/getting-started/models.

I am trying to turn my Saved Question into a Model, but when I go to the Saved Question drop down "Turn this into a Model" icon is not there. It's like it isn't an available feature for me.

Upgrade to a newer release of Metabase: https://github.com/metabase/metabase/releases

Hi Adam - we are having the same thing exactly we are on 0.42.2 (supposed to work on this version)

• which version are you on, and did you ever get it figured out ?

@jazz78 Not the same problem. This problem is because the version was not 0.42+
Models are only available on version 0.42.0+: https://www.metabase.com/docs/latest/users-guide/models.html
