I am trying to add a new bigquery database. However the save button is disable after filling up all the fields.
I am running on metabase v0.45.1
try changing any field, there should be an error somewhere (most probably the display name with spaces)

cant believe it...it was that...its funny because the example greyed out is with spaces when the text box is empty. It was that, Thank you!
One of the reasons was that the json was not correct. Please check your keys are with double quotes and not single quotes
