It seems the basic Metabase way of grouping dashboards is to create a bucket an toss the dashboard inside. We have a hierarchical tree of metrics that are mapped both to organizational structure and to topic. That now give us about 80 dashboards.
Have created a table that gives the link to home, parent, child, and peer dashboards. But rather than create the table manually, have now come up with a dashboard ID for its location within the tree. To make this work well, would like to capture the dashboard number in the query to automagically generate the breadcrumb tree. This way, I can add a single dashboard record to the breadcrumb table and generate all the breadcrumb links at the bottom of the dashboard…
