Connect Metabase to Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse

Hi all,

Is it possible to connect a self hosted Metabase to a Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse? I haven't managed to get it working via the SQL server connector.

Database type: SQL Server
Display name: test
Host: XXXXXX.datawarehouse.fabric.microsoft.com (copied from the fabric warehouse connection string)
Port: 1433

Could you send us what error you're getting? If it's about connecting with Entra ID, it is currently not supported, it's reported in this issue: Add the MSAL4J library to enable Azure AD (Entra) authentication with Microsoft identities · Issue #37493 · metabase/metabase · GitHub

Did you find a solution or a way to connect Metabase to Fabric ?

Any updates to this? I wanted to connect Metabase to Fabric SQL endpoint, but to no avail.. Will this functionality be added any time soon?
