Custom Domain Stuck on 'Waiting for CNAME to be ready'

Hi Guys,
I am configuring a custom domain for our Metabase instance and facing an issue with domain verification.

Custom Domain: custom.foobar.com
CNAME Target Configured: foobar-dev.metabase.com (Which is DNS Alias too )

The DNS CNAME record has been added correctly, and public DNS resolution confirms that:

custom.foobar.com → foobar-dev.metabase.com

The URL is accessible over HTTP, but in the Metabase dashboard it still shows:

“Waiting for CNAME to be ready.”

We have verified:

  • The CNAME record is correctly configured

  • There are no conflicting A or AAAA records

  • DNS propagation is complete

Hi there,

Could you try removing the custom domain and adding it back again from the store page? We’ve seen cases where it seems to be stuck waiting and this sometimes does the trick
