Have you considering adding a “state” button to dashboards?
It would be useful in scenario which you would be analyzing lets say employee behaviour or so. If you notice something strange you could have a check box button on top or something similar that would replace the query with a more detailed one.
Currently there are many workarounds - but they always lead to having multiple dashboards and questions. That would be a great feature to organise your work.
