Dashboard subscription not reflecting default value


I've set up a dashboard that has filters with default values applied. I've also read that these values will be reflected in dashboard subscriptions. However the test emails I send from that page does not show the filtered values. Is there a specific way this must be set up for this to occur? Thanks in advance

Please post "Diagnostic Info" from Admin > Troubleshooting.
There are a lot of changes to how subscription filters work in the upcoming 0.39.0.
