Data Analyst with Metabase experience at Firstup (Remote - UK, Ireland)

Utilise technical skills to mine data from various sources and build reports
Consult with internal teams to provide insight into platform behaviours and develop recommendations
Work with customers to build custom dashboards and reports within the FirstUp platform Identify and interpret trends and patterns in data to build insights
Establish best practices for utilising the FirstUp
Analyse service through the development of a reproducible methodology
Maintain and build upon internal reporting tools related to benchmarking
Develop data pipelines for third party services within FirstUp
Conduct in-depth investigations using complex data sets using advanced statistical methodologies and tools
Evangelize the data methodology used to develop insights from FirstUp analytics

3-5 years of experience as a data analyst or similar role
Strong knowledge of SQL (Redshift, Postgres preferred)
Experience with Metabase;
Ability to build and maintain complex queries
Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from disparate sources
Able to communicate results with various stakeholders of different levels
Experience consulting with customers and developing requirements for projects
Experience in benchmark and KPI development
Strong communication skills and experience presenting insights
Ability to independently develop strong hypotheses, diagnose and solve problems, and uncover business insights to drive growth
Preferred: experience utilising statistical methods to perform analysis (R, Python, etc)
Preferred: experience working with an analytics methodology for a SaaS platform
Platform: experience building executive level dashboards and slide decks
Ability to move and surface data between systems to tell a story
