Date filter for dashboard for coded Charts

Hi!
Could you please explain how can I use Relative and Range Date filters in Dashboard for charts, written in SQL-code?
I added 2 variables with date type:

But when I'm trying to connect these variables with Relative and Range Date it's doesnt't work with
the chart creaeted in SQL (1), but works with the chart created in Metabase GUI (2)

Does the field filter work with models? I can choose only original collections:

What do you mean by original collections? You should be able to map to columns within a table
