Date picker - dynamic default value

I have a sql question with a field filter on a date field, with widget type Month and Year. I've put it in a dashboard, and I'd like the date picker filter to have a dynamic default value (e.g. This Month). Is this possible? See attached screenshot.

Change the filter operator from “Month and Year” to at minimum “Relative Date” (but I recommend “All Options” and let your users decide) and you’ll be able to set the default value to This Month (on the Current tab in the picker, if you can’t find it).
