“Diagnostic Info” from Admin > Troubleshooting

I downloaded the .jar file and it was working fine with Metabase. Now I have installed the Metabase for Mac and cannot select a file for the connection. When i go to “Metabase Admin - Databases - Database Type (BigQuery)” and click on “Select a file” nothing happens. Is it a bug?

Please post “Diagnostic Info” from Admin > Troubleshooting.
It’s likely a change in Safari (built-in browser in the Mac App), which might have broken the file-selector.
I would recommend not using the Mac App if you know how to use JAR.

I know how to use the .jar but when I use it I need to get started every time that I run the Metabase service and when I restart my computer I lose my reports. Is there a way to use the .jar without getting started every time and to save my reports?

@schifel Yes, make sure that you use environment variables to start with, so you define the location of the application database, where everything is stored:
