Can anyone tell me how Metabase stores its metadata for its models in the database? I am interested in this because I need to migrate models, reports etc. from another BI tool (Cognos) to Metabase and I am looking for a process acceleration shortcut. Is it stored as XML in the database for example like Cognos?
No, it’s json stored in the database. There’s no straightforward migration, I would suggest you start from scratch
