Duplicated Slack notifications

I'm experimenting with Slack notifications, and I'm observing that I receive not one, but two:

  • One by a Metabase app, without logo, that sends raw images
  • Another one by MetaBot, also associated with the Metabase app, that sends a more complete report with essentially the same information

This is how it looks like:

Very similar to what this user reported in 2017 on a closed issue that didn't get much attention.

Is there a way to get only the former, or only the latter?

@juanlu_orchest You need to setup a files channel, which should not be used by humans, it's only for storing the images. Read this: https://github.com/metabase/metabase/issues/20936

It has nothing to do with the issue you are referencing, which was duplicate messages, when running multiple instances.
