The most recent update changed the 'Edit question' option to 'Edit visualization' for some panels in dashboards. For these panels there is now no longer an easy way to edit the question underlying them. When making new questions this issue doesn't seem to occur so the behaviour is very inconsistent.
Hi @owen_moir - thanks for the feedback, we're looking into making this more intuitive.
In the meantime, you can always click on the title of a panels in Dashboards to access the underlying question. Let me know if that doesn't work!
Thank you for both the question and the answer! Maybe for new users is intuitive, but for the ones that were used to the old way, it seemed like a bug. Keeping the "Edit Question" button, without removing the option to click on the title, may solve the issue.
@castares this should be better in the latest version of Metabase, we made a recent change.
Can you try that out and let us know what you think? Thanks!
That's all very well, but it also carries through the values of any selected parameters. If the user doesn't realise, they then save the question back with fixed parameters.
