Have you all ever considered overlaying custom GeoJSON with lat/lon coordinates on conventional map tiles, ie from whichever tile server is configured in map settings?
In our case, we have a very sparse custom map with tiny features that are hard to find or navigate in the current custom region map view. If they were on top of OpenStreetMap tiles, that would help orient us.
@flamber mentioned in Metabase Error when Adding a Map that Metabase doesn't currently do this. Totally understood. It'd be a great feature to add though.
