Since updating to v0.50 (open source) in order to have filters in models, it seems that users are required to have "Query Builder and Native" permissions rather than "Query Builder Only". Is this the intended behavior? Previous versions did not require granting native access as well.
please post which 50 version you're talking about and a reproduction
thanks
Using 0.50.19.
Any user that doesn't have "Query Builder and Native" permissions on the database is unable to create filters on models or questions; as soon as I change the permissions to "Query Builder and Native" the are able to filter again. From reading the documentation, it seemed like "Query Builder Only" should also have the necessary permissions to drill down into the datasets, but that doesn't appear to be the case.
please post the reproduction steps, thanks
Create new model in a collection;
Assign "Query Builder Only" permissions to user group for that collection;
Open model as user in that group.
When doing this, the data cannot be filtered (the option does not exist).
If I perform the same steps but assign "Query Builder and Native" permissions on the collection to the user group, then the option to filter is correctly there.
Hi Luiggi - any thoughts on this?
Thanks!
