I'm new to Metabase Models and I'm having issues creating filters. I created a model called 'Test Model' and as I read on this article, I didn't add variable, and when I added the table to a dashboard, the columns where available on filter options, as it said on the article. However, when I made a native query question (named 'test_chart') based on 'Test Model', no column was available for filtering (It was possible using 'summarize', but this is not enough for me, since I have some complex metrics).
I'd like to have the same filters from data model to my question based on the same model
You need to use the GUI in that case since there is no metadata information in an SQL query ... So use the model in a GUI else add field filters to that SQL
