Google cloud sql or mysql in Compute Engine VM as souce

Hi there,

I currently running my website in Google Cloud (Compute Engine VM) and link it to a Cloud SQL instance. I wonder how could I connect to 1 of these two databases via Metabase MySQL.

Please help. Thanks in advance

You should be able to do that, so long as the MySQL server is accessible from wherever you’re running Metabase.

With cloud sql, you’ll need to whitelist the Metabase IP, I believe.
