"Hidden" dashboard filters?

I’m hoping to make different variations of dashboards that are the same, except for one text filter which is passed into the contained questions. Is there a good way to do this, without duplicating all the questions and the dashboard?

I would imagine if there was a “hidden” dashboard filter that I could pass into the questions, that would be a great solution. Is there anything like this, or a better way to do it?
