How to add custom driver to managed Metabase service

We use the managed Metabase product and I wondered if there was a way we could add custom drivers to our instance?

For example, something like this for using Google Sheets as a data source: https://github.com/Markenson/csv-metabase-driver

It’s currently not possible to use third-party drivers with Metabase Cloud:
https://www.metabase.com/blog/migrating-to-metabase-cloud/index.html#limitations-with-metabase-cloud
It is something we’re looking into, but it’s a lot more complicated than it sounds.
