How to ask metabase to only check selected table

When connecting to a database, metabase is loading all the tables, is there anyway to only load selected tables?

Database security - setup a user who only has access to the required tables.

thanks, it’s a good idea!
But it’s kind of hack, hope metabase can come up with option to select table

You can hide the tables you don’t want to see. Not sure what more you need.
