Hyperlink without http (a link to an existing local file on the PC)

Hello,

Is there a way to create a link to an existing local file on my PC?

I tried this [Startpage](file://wdegsdata1/SW/… Startpage.html) but it does not work.

I’m pretty sure that gets taken about by the Markdown rendering for security purposes.
You can either run a small web server locally or simply write the path to the file and tell people how to open that file.
