"Include Today" not applying in Relative Dates on Dashboards

I see this bug report from 2023: Dashboard date filter "Include Today" not working - #3 by CZvacko

It is the same problem and I'm not sure that issue was resolved.

We have an observability dashboard that needs to include today's date plus previous 30 days to compare if our data quality issues have spiked. However, it will exclude today's date, making it not nearly as useful.

No, I do not want it at the question level only--it needs to apply to all questions on the dashboard.

It's probably been resolved, but it's not very user friendly to set it up. When you are editing dashboard and setting Filter settings, Filter operator CANNOT be Relative date, but MUST be All options.
Then you have to edit the Default value, scroll down to the end of the list, there is Relative dates..., then you can define like past 30 days, and under three dots you can set Include today
